Eric Dowdle - Noah's Ark Painting

For those of you who love Eric Dowdle art -- his paintings are on sale at a website called Canvas Wrapped. You can get a really nice gallery wrapped print for only about $150. I love his Noah's Ark Painting. There are also tons of Americana prints, prints of individual cities such as New York, Boston, and Washington D.C. Meeting Taylor Hicks

Well, over the weekend I attended the Stadium of Fire Celebration. I was able to get some backstage passes to meet Taylor Hicks. My niece is his biggest fan, so I surprised her with front row seats and going backstage. That was my favorite part -- to see her face when he put his arm around her, gave her an autograph and had photos taken with her. It was a very memorable experience for me -- and gave me a tremendous amount of joy to make a dream come true for her.

I was grateful she had her camera and took tons of pictures -- so I can scrapbook about the event. It's an occasion I don't want to forget and pictures always seem to bring back the memories much more easily than words.

If any of you were able to attend the Stadium of Fire -- it was one of my favorite celebrations ever. I loved it! It was the first year I was up front -- so that probably made it more interactive for me -- but if you ever have a chance to attend -- definitely go!
